More Music In Town!

So, as I noted earlier, Knut performed at the Historical Museum in La Conner. And yeah, I attended.

Knut played by himself and was visibly unnerved, mentioning a few times that he felt "naked" without his band. Let me just say this about that: I really enjoy seeing an artist this way - without the cover of their band. I enjoyed hearing Knut's voice more clearly, the way he played his guitar, even his stories in-between songs. I say, more power to you, Knut.

I got to see Patterson Hood recently at the Nightlight in Bellingham and found it to be a great experience as well. It's much more intimate and much less distracting.

Oh, I titled the post "More Music..." because today I got to see Guy's Night Out in the La Conner Middle School gymnasium... they performed for the Chowder Feed. You never really know when or where you're gonna find music here.
